Temple Emanuel Brotherhood
The Brotherhood is holding a pansy sale again this year. Click here for the form.
The purpose of the Brotherhood is to: cooperate with Temple Emanuel in stimulating Jewish religious activities; to foster cultural advancement among its membership; and to promote the spirit of comradeship among its membership. We welcome any help anyone wants to give at all of our affairs.
Brotherhood membership is open to all adult male members of Temple Emanuel with annual dues of $40. Newcomers are granted first-year membership at no cost.
Brotherhood serves the Temple community in many ways: assisting other Temple committees and groups (TEPS, TERS, Membership, etc.) with set-up and clean-up; sponsoring the Purim festival; preparing and serving monthly dinners at the Greensboro Urban Ministry; preparing breakfast for Mitzvah Day participants; and hosting speakers and sponsoring political forums during election cycles.
Brotherhood sets up and takes down the Chanukah Menorah and the Sukkah at Temple Emanuel. We also help to support specific projects and safety-related programs.
