Friends of the March of The Living Musical Fundraiser
The concert this year will spotlight entertainment by Emily Siar and some of her classmates and friends, young and old, from Temple Emanuel, Beth David Synagogue, American Hebrew Academy, and Greensboro Day School. A partial list of the performers includes: Katherine Bernstein, Jenny Kaplan, Stephanie Krantz, Carmi Medoff, Jenna Schleien, and some other entertainment surprises from the Jewish community. For many of these students this will be their last year of Jewish education in Greensboro. One of our largest groups of Jewish students from Beth David and Temple Emanuel will be attending the MOTL this April. They will be accompanied by Rabbi Guttman, on his tenth trip, Rabbi Havivi and several adults and Holocaust survivors from the community.
The cost to send each child on the MOTL is tremendous, $5000 plus RT airfare to NYC. In an effort to assure every student who wants to attend the MOTL can, regardless of financial obstacles, we are looking for sponsorships. Levels of sponsorship include: Liberator- one full scholarship $5,000, Resistor-$2,500, Marcher-$1,000, Supporter-$500, Friend-$100. Sponsors at the supporter level and above will receive a table with premier seating. Costs of individual tickets are $25 adults, $18 seniors, $10 students. Dessert and refreshments will be served.
