About the event

Join us for a virtual seder led by Rabbi Andy & Michal Koren. We will be leaving Egypt together using the technology which seemed so innovative and even unmanageable last year, but has become a familiar part of how so many of us have maintained and grown our connections since then.  We look forward to sharing stories, chats, and music, together with traditions old and new!

Seder plate – if you already have one, or use any plate from home

  • Shank bone, aka Zro’a; vegetarians are encouraged to use a beet
  • Parsley, aka Karpas
  • Boiled egg, aka Beitzah
  • Horseradish, aka Maror or bitter herbs
  • Sweet mixture, aka Charoset (lots of recipes for this on the Internet)
  • Lettuce, aka Chazeret

Wine/Grape Juice – enough for at least four cups a person, plus for the Elijah Cup which should be filled and placed next to the seder plate

Miriam’s Cup – fill a dedicated cup with water and place next to the seder plate
