How many of us have looked at a Mah Jongg tile and wondered what those marvelous images actually mean? Join us as Gregg Swain takes us on a tour of those images and decodes those often-cryptic messages. Gregg will teach us aspects of Chinese culture and history through the art of the game pieces.

Gregg Swain is an internationally known Mah Jongg historian, and co-author of Mah Jongg – The Art of the Game, American Mah Jongg for Everyone, and Mah Jongg is For the Birds. A graduate of Smith College with a degree in Art History, she earned a Doctorate in…
